Microsoft adds ChatGPT Technology to Bing Search Engine“It’s a new day in search,” says Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella at an event at the company’s Redmond, Washington headquarters. “The race starts today. We’re going to move fast.” And so it seems!

The Battle of AIs begin

Microsoft has recently made a groundbreaking move by collaborating with OpenAI to set up Bing on a new large language model, claiming to be more powerful than ChatGPT. This integration has the potential to revolutionize the way we search for information online. This could pose a significant challenge to Google’s dominance in the search engine market. If  Microsoft succeeds at turning the tables with the new AI integrations, it could result in major share shifts from Google. Bing currently captures a mere 9% of the search market. This marks a major step forward in the development of search technology and has the potential to make searching for information more convenient and efficient.

Furthermore, Microsoft unveiled a new version of its internet browser Edge that embeds Bing into its toolbar. On a webpage of a document, a user can now prompt Bing to summarize the information or compare values. A user can even generate draft posts on social media platforms with the help of this powerful tool.

So where does Google stand?

On Monday, Google announced it’s debut of Bard, a chat service that appears to be it’s answer to ChatGPT. However, the company has reportedly enacted a ‘Code Red’ within, since the announcement of ChatGPT late last year.

Do we think this will pose as a challenge to Google? Well, Google has been the dominant player in the search engine market for many years. It’s search algorithms have been refined and optimized over time to provide relevant and accurate results. However, with the help of AI, Microsoft’s new search engine has the potential to offer a more personalized and interactive search experience. This could give it an edge over Google for sure and of course a chance for Bing to get it’s due relevance.

Microsoft a step ahead with AI backed Bing

It’s exciting to think about what other breakthroughs and innovations are in store for us in the technological world. Microsoft’s ‘AI-Powered Co-Pilot for the web’ is just the tip of the iceberg and is a clear indication that AI is rapidly advancing and taking over the way we interact with technology.

Well, Microsoft may have finally found a way to get users to move to Bing! The wars of AI have begun and we only have to wait and see what is going to unfold. There is no denying Microsoft’s new search engine is an exciting development in the world of technology. It may be just what it needs to be the bigger player in the consumer tech space.
